Are we Related? Try RelativeFinder.org!
One of the easiest ways to determine if you are a descendant of Joseph and Nancy Taylor is to login to RelativeFinder.org and join the Taylor Association group (“Taylor Family Assoc”). It is free to use, but you need to get a free FamilySearch account if you aren’t already. Joining is as easy as 1-2-3! After you find the group, you will notice that the password is part of the name (“TFA2016”).
Once you have joined the group you will be able to see how you are related to other people that are part of the group. Click “Relatives” and then “My Relatives” from the menu. Then filter on the left by checking the box that says “Taylor Family Assoc.” If you aren’t related to any of the group members you either need to fill in your tree on FamilySearch.org, or you are not related to this branch of the Taylors.
