William (Bill) was born 2 Jan 1918 in Pleasant View, Utah, a son of Henry Columbus Brown and Pearl Duncan Brown. He attended school in Malad, Idaho, University of Moscow Idaho and University of Utah. He was a veteran of WW II in the Army, serving in the paratroopers division. He married in the Logan Utah Temple. Bill managed meat markets for American Food, May Fair, and K Mart he retired from Smith’s in 1980. Bill was a member of the LDS Canyon View 2nd Ward, serving as secretary of the High Priests’ Quorum, as a genealogical extractor, and as a home teacher.
He passed away 6 May 2000 at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah of leukemia. He was survived by his wife 5 children and 20 grandchildren. Burial was 10 May 2000 in Washington Heights Memorial Park. Bill’s wife is a descendant of Pleasant Green Taylor and Sarah Jane Marler Lake through their second son Josiah.
