DuWayne was born 26 Apr 1932 in Wast Layton, Utah, a son of Hyrum Gilbert. and Telitha Jane Simmons Talbot. He graduated from Davis High School and served in the Korean War. He married Rae Blackham 4 Nov 1984.
He died 5 Apr 2001 at the age of 68, in Layton, Utah.
DuWayne was survived by a stepdaughter, stepson, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. DuWayne was preceded in death by his wife, brother, and sister. Interment 10 Apr, Clearfield City Cemetery.
DuWayne was a grandson of Hyrum Pursell Talbot & Ellen Maria Bennett, daughter of Thomas Bennett & Maria Driggs, daughter of Samuel Driggs & Elizabeth Ann Taylor.
