Scott was born 23 Dec 1979 to Larry & Kathy Smith in Layton, Utah. He graduated from primary, received his Arrow of Light, Faith in God, and Duty to God Awards, and was an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Clearfield High with honors. He received a four-year certificate of graduation from Seminary. He also attended Weber State University for a year, prior to his mission.
Interment, 20 Apr 2001, Clearfield Cemetery.
Elder Smith is a step-grandson of Harlan Sherman Taylor by his 2nd wife RaNae Brown Taylor. Harlan is a descendant of James Caldwell Taylor & Sarah Maria Hyde.
