Robert was born 16 Aug 1922 in Ogden, Utah, one of three children born to William Albert Robertson and Minnie Pimlott Robertson. On 11 Nov 1941 Robert married Audrey Taylor, who preceded him in death. Audrey was an adopted daughter of Walter Taylor & Maud Araham. Walter was a son of Pleasant Green Taylor & Sarah Jane Marler. They had four children.
Robert remarried 10 Dec 1986. He lived in Sunset and Riverdale, Utah most of his life and retired to Arizona several years ago. Robert joined the U.S. Navy in 1942 and was a member of the National Guard. He worked for Kennecott Copper, the Railroad, and the Boeing Company. He was the first Chief of Police in Sunset City. He also owned his own company for a number of years.
Robert died 21 Jun 2000 at his home in Glendale, Arizona at age 77 of natural causes. He was surviving by his wife, 3 children, 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Burial was 27 Jun in Washington Heights Memorial Park, Ogden, Utah.
