Naomi was born 29 Oct 1918 in North Ogden Utah, the daughter of Parley James Pickford & Rozella Taylor Pickford. (Naomi was a granddaughter of James Henry Taylor and Martha Arnelia Rawson. James Henry was the son of Joseph Taylor & Hannah Mariah Harris.)
On 20 Dec 1939 Naomi married Carlyle (Curly) Hyrum Larkin in North Ogden UT and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Naomi wrote for the Ogden Standard Examiner during her high school years and prior to her marriage. She also wrote, directed and performed in various plays and productions. She served a total of 23 years on two Stake Relief Society boards, was a Sunday School teacher 25 years and spent 20 years as the Regional Teacher Trainer over the 8 Stake Relief Society teachers. She was a president of Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, President of her PTA twice and served as an officer in the Farm Bureau.
She died 13 Aug 2000 in Twin Falls, Idaho. At her death she had one daughter, 3 sons, 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Burial was 17 Aug 2000 at the Willard Cemetery, Willard, Utah.
