Miriam Esther was born April 22,1913 in Providence, Rhode Island to Louis and Mollie Kaufman Marks. She married Lovell Fitzgerald Kidd 20 Oct 1935 in Las Vegas NV. He passed away 15 Aug 1958. She then married Daniel Andrew Taylor on 21 Dec 1961 in Ogden, UT. He had one son and three daughters. He passed away 8 Jun 1989. Daniel was a grandson of William Riley Taylor & Margaret Jane Ellison. William was a son of Allen Taylor & Sarah Lovisa Allred.
Miriam lived in Ogden, Salt Lake City, California, Clearfield and Layton throughout her life. She traveled extensively while married to her first and second husbands. Miriam was a volunteer at the Veteran’s hospital in Salt Lake and California. She also volunteered at Humana Davis Hospital. Miriam was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in California and Utah, holding many offices, including president of the Auxiliary.
Miriam passed away 21 Dec 2000 at Layton UT. She had 18 step-grandchildren, 46 step-great-grandchildren, and 10 step-great-great-grandchildren at the time. Interment was in the Kaysville, Utah, City Cemetery on 27 Dec 2000.
