Frank was born 7 Jun, 1924 in Ogden UT, a son of Lloyd Ernest and Blanche J. Sumner Lorance.
On 19 Jun 1977 he married Melba Taylor Charlesworth. (Melba was a granddaughter of Levi James Taylor & Gennet Flora Bingham. Levi was a son of Pleasant Green Taylor & Clara Lake.)
Frank was a member of the First Christian Church. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army and was a logistics supervisor at Hill Air Force Base, retiring in 1980 after 36 years of service. He participated in the Heart Mate program at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City.
Frank died 16 Sep 2000 of congestive heart disease. He was survived by one son and three daughters, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandson. Burial was 20 Sep 2000 at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, Ogden.
