Elijah Upton White, son of Hezekiah White and Mary Ann Elizabeth Hudnall, was born 22 February 1853, Warren County, Kentucky.
He married his 2nd cousin, Laura White, daughter of John A. White and Mary Jane Stone. (John A. White was son of John H. White, who was son of William White). This family apparently moved to Kansas, possibly Kansas City, with Laura’s paraents.
Elijah U. and Laura had two sons, John and Luther White, who stayed in Kansas. Elijah Upton White died 11 March 1881 of fever. Laura’s parents also died of fever. Laura returned to Kentucky and married (2) Alex Spaulding. Laura and Alex had four children.
