Donna was born 3 March 1926 in Fairview, Wyoming to Elman Taylor and Ruth Bates Child. She married Lloyd Slusher 18 Feb l946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and together they had three sons and three daughters.
She was a graduate of Jordan High School in 1943 and graduated from BYU’s School of Nursing in 1965. Donna was the Director of Murray City Library System for 13 years. She was honored many times on both the state and national levels for her work with libraries in pioneering the development of a computerized catalog system. Donna was an active member of the LDS Church, with a special love for her stake missionary calling and her 30 years of service in ward and stake Relief Society Presidencies. She passed away 13 Dec 2000 at the home of her daughter. She had 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren at the time. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 18 Dec 2000.Donna was a granddaughter of William Alfred Child & Amanda Taylor, daughter of Joseph Taylor & Jane Lake
