Anita was born 29 Aug 1915 in Ogden Utah to Reuben Francis Cottle and Ada Evelyn Cottle. She was a granddaughter of William Taylor and Ada Rose Taylor she was doubly related to the Taylors, as William was a grandson of John Taylor & Eleanor Burkett & Ada Rose was a daughter of Joseph Taylor & Hannah Mariah Harris.
Anita’s parents moved to Fish Haven, Idaho, where they operated a cafe for summer tourists. The family returned to Ogden and she attended Ogden High School. She married Wayne Goddard Bachman of Ogden on 24 Jul 1935. The couple lived and worked in Clarksburg California, & Twin Falls & Rupert, Idaho. They were the parents of two children; Joseph Rexel Bachman II (deceased) and one living. Anita and her husband were active in the Twin Falls Elks Club and the Rupert County Club. Anita sold clothing for shops in Twin Falls, Rupert, Salt Lake City & Las Vegas. She worked as receptionist for the Minidoka County Newspaper in Rupert. Following her husband’s death in 1966, Anita lived and worked in Sun Valley, Idaho. Later, she managed apartment complexes in Omaha, Culver City & Phoenix. She lived in Ogden at her death. Anita died 19 Apr 2000 in Logan Regional Hospital of complications due to age. She was a member of the LDS Church. At her death she had three living brothers, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Burial was 24 Apr 2000 in Twin Falls, Idaho.
