Henry Allen Taylor was born 10 August 1859, probably at Little Reedy Creek, (Taylor Port), Butler, Kentucky.
He married Margaret B. (“Maggie”) Smith, who was born in 1860.
They had nine sons and daughters: Mattie May; Albert Lee (“Bert”); James Edward; Louise Ann; Arthur Irven; Clyde A.; James Newton; Catherine Lena and Vergie Hula Taylor.
According to the 1909 Taylor Family Reunion Record, this family moved to Oakwood, Oklahoma.
